- CornishSpeaking as an Englishman, I find it sad that the Cornish language died out in the 18th century. Als Engländer finde ich es traurig, dass die kornische Sprache im 18. Jahrhundert ausgestorben ist. Yet, if we are to add new languages, I would plead that amongst these must be the language of one part of my constituency, namely Cornish. In fact, in parts of Wexford, where I was born, there was a minority language that borrowed very heavily on the Cornish language. In Teilen Wexfords, wo ich geboren wurde, gab es eine Minderheitensprache, die sehr stark an die kornische Sprache angelehnt war.
