Only last week, a frigate of the Dutch Navy helped free a German merchant ship. Kennelijk staan de lidstaten niet te popelen om mee te doen aan operationele activiteiten. Ik ben dan ook verheugd dat Nederland uiteindelijk bereid is gevonden een fregat in te zetten. Obviously, the Member States are not exactly champing at the bit to participate in operational activities, and I am therefore pleased that the Netherlands has finally agreed to deploy a frigate.
